Twenty six years old Thaer Hassouna from Gaza. Three of his cousins, eight, nine and ten years old died on a playground in a rocket attack.

Mohammed and I were communicating on his iphone by translating  from English to Arabic. " I am dreaming of a life with my family in peace, without wars."

On the 26th day without food, a meeting inside the tents after hearing that the Swedish immigration board refuses to cooperate due to immigration law restrictions.

After 27 days of starvation the Swedish immigration board finally agreed to cooperate and promised to reopen each case by early October 2014 for further examination, the board stated that none of them will receive a negative answer.

As a partial victory due to the Swedish immigration board agreeing to reopen each cases, the Palestinian men decided to celebrate by eating food for the first time in almost four weeks.
